Parc régional de la rivière Mitis
With an area of over 300 km2, the Regional Park of the Mitis River extends along the Mitis River, acting as a link between the inland and the coastline, from the Notre-Dame Mountains to the Saint Lawrence River. Thanks to the collaboration of involved partners, the park offers a multitude of attractions and activities, including conceptual gardens, hiking trails, wildlife observation, hunting, fishing, and much more.

Forest hiking enthusiasts can enjoy a peaceful stroll along trails of varying difficulty levels. Viewpoints, observation decks, heated shelters, and resting areas further enhance the experience.

Sentier des Contreforts
This hidden gem offers a hike where you will be amazed by the grandeur of the landscape with its autumn colors as splendid as a majestic mural. This loop has an elevation gain of 170 meters and provides exceptional panoramas, where unmatched tranquility and beauty prevail. You traverse the Contreforts trail from kilometer 1 to kilometer 3.5, then return to the parking lot via the trail marked in blue and white.
